Candidates who have qualified the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) for Primary (Paper I) and Upper Primary (Paper II) levels can retrieve their official, digitally signed UPTET Certificate and Marksheet via the Government of India’s DigiLocker platform (digilocker.gov.in). As per the official notification issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and adopted by the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh, all UPTET certificates now carry lifetime validity.
This digital certificate eliminates the necessity of procuring physical certificates from District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) and is legally valid for all ongoing and future Assistant Teacher (Super TET) recruitment drives in Uttar Pradesh.

How to Download UPTET Certificate via DigiLocker
- Install the DigiLocker App from Google Play Store / Apple App Store, or visit digilocker.gov.in.
- Sign in using your Aadhaar Number and 6-digit security PIN. (Ensure your registered mobile receives the OTP).
- In the search bar, type Examination Regulatory Authority Uttar Pradesh or UPTET.
- Select the document type: Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate or Marksheet.
- Enter your Roll Number and select the Year of Examination.
- Check the declaration checkbox and click Get Document.
- Your certificate will be imported into the Issued Documents section. Click the download icon to save a high-resolution PDF copy featuring the official cryptographic digital signature and QR code.
Physical DIET Certificate Verification
Candidates who need physical certificates for specific offline document verification sessions can also obtain them from their respective district DIET office by presenting:
- UPTET Online Application Form printout and Admit Card.
- UPTET Result Scorecard copy.
- Original 10th, 12th, Graduation, and D.El.Ed / B.Ed Marksheets with photocopies.
- Category Certificate (OBC / SC / ST / EWS) and Special Reservation proof (if applicable).
- Original Aadhaar Card and 2 passport size photographs.
