The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will activate the portal link for viewing the question paper, recorded candidate responses, and provisional answer keys for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Under Graduate Level Posts under Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2024. Candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Test (CBT) can log in to their respective regional RRB websites or the centralized portal at rrbcdg.gov.in once the objection link goes live.
The provisional key release allows candidates to calculate their raw scores, cross-examine evaluated questions, and register formal objections against incorrect answers or ambiguous question formulations within the designated window.

Score Calculation & Negative Marking Norms
Candidates can compute their approximate raw score using the official marking standard:
- Correct Answer: +1 mark for every question where candidate’s marked option matches the provisional key answer.
- Incorrect Answer: 1/3rd (0.33 mark) deduction for every wrong response.
- Unattempted Questions: 0 marks (No negative penalty).
- Formula: Estimated Raw Score = (Total Correct Answers × 1) – (Total Incorrect Answers × 0.33).
Step-by-Step Response Sheet & Key Verification
- Visit your regional RRB portal (e.g., RRB Chandigarh, RRB Allahabad, RRB Mumbai, RRB Bhopal).
- Click on the active notification link: CEN 06/2024 (NTPC UG) – Viewing of Question Paper, Responses, and Keys & Raising Objections.
- Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on Candidate Response tab to download your full question paper along with chosen options and correct answers.
- To challenge a question, select the Objection Form, specify Question ID, upload documentary evidence/justification, and pay ₹50 per question via Net Banking/UPI.
