UP Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System • Academic Session 2026–27
The Social Welfare Department, Backward Class Welfare Department, and Minority Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh have opened online applications for the UP Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2026–27. Students enrolled in Class 9, Class 10 (Pre-Matric), Class 11, Class 12, ITI, Polytechnic Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional Degree courses can complete fresh registration or renewal on the centralized portal at scholarship.up.gov.in.
To ensure transparent fund disbursal via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), the UP Government has mandated DigiLocker document verification and NPCI Aadhaar seeding for all applicants.

Mandatory Pre-Application Prerequisites
- Aadhaar Card Linked to Mobile: Required for OTP verification during both registration and DigiLocker access.
- Bank Account NPCI Seeding: Your savings bank account must be actively linked with Aadhaar on the NPCI mapping server. Accounts without NPCI seeding will reject DBT scholarship credit.
- Income & Caste Certificates: Valid digitally issued Income Certificate (Aay Praman Patra) and Caste Certificate (Jaati Praman Patra) with verifiable application and certificate serial numbers.
- Fee Receipt & College Enrollment Number: Valid current session admission fee receipt and university/board enrollment number.
Step-by-Step Registration & Submission Flow
- Visit scholarship.up.gov.in and navigate to Student → Registration.
- Choose your community category and relevant scheme level (Fresh or Renewal).
- Enter high school roll number, passing year, active mobile number, and create a strong password.
- Log in to the candidate portal and complete the DigiLocker Verification step.
- Fill in educational, caste, income, bank, and course fee particulars.
- Click Check / Print Draft Copy and present the draft to your school/college authority for physical cross-verification.
- After verifying errors, click Final Lock / Submit.
- Print the final submitted application form, attach required documents, and submit the hardcopy to your educational institution within 3 business days.
