Exam Timings

Paper Time
Paper 1: General Hindi 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon
Paper 2: General Knowledge and General Science 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Each paper had 100 questions for 200 marks. Candidates got 10 extra minutes to fill the fifth option on the OMR sheet, which RPSC uses for unattempted questions.

How the District Details Were Checked

  1. Log in to the Rajasthan SSO portal with your SSO ID.
  2. Open the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C).
  3. Go to the SI Re-Exam 2021 section.
  4. Enter your application number and date of birth to see the allotted district.

The district details only told candidates the district; the exact centre address was printed on the admit card.

Exam Day Rules That Applied

  • Reach the centre about two hours early for security checks, face recognition and thumb impression.
  • Gates closed 60 minutes before the exam.
  • Carry the printed admit card with a recent colour photograph and an original Aadhaar card (or another photo ID if the Aadhaar photo is old).
  • Use only a blue or black ballpoint pen; electronic devices are not allowed.

Selection Process After the Written Exam

  1. Written exam: two papers, 400 marks in total.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test: qualifying, for candidates shortlisted on the basis of written marks.
  3. Interview and document verification for candidates who pass the physical test.
  4. Final merit from written and interview marks, as per the rules.

What Comes Next

RPSC usually releases the provisional answer key of the written exam on its website with a short window for objections, followed by the result. Candidates can check these through the RPSC website and the SSO Recruitment Portal. Keep your SSO ID, application number and admit card safe, because you will need them at every stage.

Do Not Confuse with SI Recruitment 2025

RPSC also has a separate Sub Inspector / Platoon Commander recruitment advertised in 2025 for 1,015 posts. Its written exam was held on 5 and 6 April 2026. Notices for the 2021 re-exam and the 2025 recruitment are different, so read the exam name carefully on every notice.
