• First of all, General, Unreserved and General-EWS candidates need at least 55% marks, without rounding off, in a UGC-recognised Master’s degree or equivalent examination.
• However, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, SC, ST, PwD and Third-gender candidates need at least 50% marks.
• Moreover, final-year Master’s students and result-awaited candidates may apply provisionally.
• Therefore, provisional candidates must complete their Master’s degree with the required marks within two years from the date of the SET result.
• Normally, candidates should appear in the subject studied during their post-graduation.
• In addition, candidates with a Master’s degree in Geography and specialisation in Population Studies may select Population Studies.

• First, candidates need a valid Rajasthan SSO ID and completed One Time Registration.
• Next, they must keep Aadhaar Card or Jan Aadhaar information ready for e-KYC.
• After that, candidates must capture a live photograph during the KYC process.
• In addition, a handwritten specimen in PDF format, normally between 100 KB and 200 KB, is required.
• Moreover, applicants need Hindi and English signatures in JPG or JPEG format.
• Similarly, they must upload a thumb impression in the prescribed format.
• Also, candidates should keep Class 10, Class 12, graduation and post-graduation documents ready.
• Where applicable, category, domicile, disability or reservation certificates must also be uploaded.
• Finally, applicants need an active mobile number and email address.

1. First, open the Rajasthan SSO portal and log in with your SSO ID. New users should complete SSO registration.
2. Next, open the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal and complete One Time Registration and e-KYC.
3. After that, verify the auto-filled personal information and enter the remaining details.
4. Meanwhile, upload the live photograph, handwritten specimen, signatures, thumb impression and academic documents.
5. Then, open the Ongoing Recruitments section and select State Eligibility Test 2026.
6. Moreover, select the relevant post-graduation subject and complete the remaining form.
7. Before submitting, review every entry carefully because incorrect information may affect candidature.
8. Afterwards, pay the applicable examination fee online.
9. Finally, confirm that the portal has generated an Application Number and download the submitted application form.

• First, candidates must appear for Paper I, which tests teaching and research aptitude.
• Next, they must attempt Paper II based on their selected post-graduation subject.
• After that, the university will apply subject-wise and category-wise qualifying criteria.
• Finally, qualifying candidates will receive the Rajasthan SET eligibility certificate.

There is no interview in the Rajasthan SET examination process. However, qualifying candidates do not receive a direct appointment. Instead, universities, colleges and recruitment agencies may conduct a separate recruitment process for Assistant Professor posts.
