Educational Qualification for ISRO URSC Apprentice

Candidates should check the qualification according to the post category. Also, they should keep the original certificates ready because URSC will verify documents before final selection.

Who Can Apply for ISRO URSC Apprentice

  • Candidates who passed out during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 can apply.

Selection Process for ISRO URSC Apprentice

URSC will not conduct a written exam for this apprentice recruitment. Instead, the centre will shortlist candidates through academic marks and verify their documents later.

  1. URSC will shortlist candidates based on percentage in the respective discipline.
  2. After that, shortlisted candidates will attend document verification.
  3. Finally, URSC will prepare the final panel based on Degree, Diploma or Commercial Practice academic scores.
  4. The centre will induct apprentices according to their position in the final panel.
  5. URSC will send selection-related information to shortlisted candidates through email only.

Note: Candidates shortlisted for document verification will not get travelling allowance.

Documents Required

Candidates should prepare scanned documents before starting the online form. Therefore, they can complete the UMANG application without delay.

  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma marks certificate of all semesters or years in one file not exceeding 1 MB.
  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma certificate, provisional certificate or passing certificate not exceeding 1 MB.
  • Valid government-issued ID proof.
  • Clear photograph in jpg / jpeg / png format, maximum size 50 KB.
  • Clear signature in jpg / jpeg / png format, maximum size 50 KB.
  • Latest caste certificate for SC / ST / OBC candidates, where applicable.
  • PwBD certificate issued by the competent authority, where applicable.
  • EWS income and assets certificate valid for the year 2025-2026, where applicable.

Candidates should complete NATS registration first. After that, they should submit the ISRO URSC Apprentice application on the UMANG portal.

  1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal and complete NATS registration.
  2. Upload the required Degree or Diploma certificate and valid government ID during NATS enrolment.
  3. After successful NATS registration, note the Enrolment Number or Apprenticeship Registration Number.
  4. Open the UMANG portal and login or register.
  5. Search for URSC Apprenticeship on UMANG.
  6. Select the suitable apprentice position according to your qualification and discipline.
  7. Fill all required details carefully and upload the required documents.
  8. Submit the application before 28 August 2026.
  9. Finally, keep a copy of the submitted application and registration details for future reference.
