TGPSC Deputy Educational Officer / Gazetted Head Master Grade-I Recruitment 2026

Short Information:
Telangana Public Service Commission has invited online applications for 24 Deputy Educational Officer / Gazetted Head Master Grade-I posts in the School Education Department. Eligible candidates can submit the online form through the TGPSC recruitment portal up to 19 July 2026 at 5:00 PM. The objective written examination is tentatively scheduled for October 2026.

Last Date Alert: The online application portal closes on 19 July 2026 at 5:00 PM. TGPSC has advised candidates not to wait until the final day.

The fee must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI. Once paid, the fee will not be refunded or adjusted.

The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased according to departmental requirements and official TGPSC orders.

Candidates must possess both of the following qualifications as on 5 June 2026:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognized University with subjects eligible for admission into a B.Ed course.
• A Postgraduate Degree from a UGC-recognized University with at least 55% marks.
• For SC, ST, BC and differently abled candidates, the minimum marks for academic and professional qualifications are 50%.

Distance or open-learning qualifications will be accepted only when recognized by UGC, AICTE, Distance Education Bureau or the relevant statutory authority.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 44 Years
• The candidate must not have been born after 1 July 2008.
• The candidate must not have been born before 2 July 1982, before applying category relaxation.

According to the notification, 95% local reservation is applicable separately to posts notified under Multi Zone-I and Multi Zone-II.

Multi Zone-I District Groups

Includes district groups covering Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, Medak, Kamareddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Hanumakonda and Warangal.

Multi Zone-II District Groups

Includes district groups covering Suryapet, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool.

Candidates from other states are not entitled to Telangana reservation benefits.

1. Objective written examination through CBRT or OMR mode.
2. Selection will be based on the marks secured in the written examination.
3. Candidates must appear in every paper; absence from any paper results in disqualification.
4. Merit will be prepared separately against vacancies available in the selected Multi Zone.
5. Document and certificate verification will be conducted according to TGPSC instructions.

Both papers will be bilingual in English and Telugu. The notification does not specifically state negative marking.

TGPSC may change, remove or add centres for administrative reasons. Requests to change an allotted centre will not be accepted.

1. Open the official TGPSC website and read Notification No. 03/G/SE/2026.
2. Complete One Time Registration to obtain a TGPSC ID if not already registered.
3. Open the online application link for this recruitment.
4. Log in using the TGPSC ID, date of birth and OTP received on the registered mobile number.
5. Check the details fetched from the OTR database, including name, date of birth, qualification, category and disability status.
6. Select the examination centre and fill every relevant field.
7. Preview the form and select “Save & Payment.”
8. Pay the applicable fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
9. After payment, click “Confirm & Submit.”
10. Download the generated PDF application and keep the Reference ID safely.

• OTR registration alone is not an application; a separate online form must be submitted for this notification.
