City Slip vs Admit Card: What You Must Know

  • City Intimation Slip: The city slip is NOT the admit card and cannot be used to enter the examination venue. It is provided solely to facilitate travel and accommodation planning by informing you of your assigned examination city and shift.
  • Final Admit Card: The full Admission Certificate contains the exact examination center name, address, reporting time, gate closing time, and roll number. It will be released 2 to 3 days prior to your specific exam date.

How to Check Exam City on SSC Portal

  1. Go to the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the Login / Register button at the top right.
  3. Enter your Registration Number and Password.
  4. Navigate to your candidate dashboard and select the Exam City / Shift Details tab.
  5. View your allotted exam city, shift timing, and instructions.

Reporting Advisory: Candidates must arrive before gate closure time. No candidate will be allowed entry into the test lab after the gate closes under any circumstances.
