Short Information:
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has invited online applications for
Common Eligibility Test Senior Secondary Level 2026 under Advertisement
No. 08/2026. Class 12 qualified candidates interested in eligible
Rajasthan government posts can submit the online application through
Rajasthan SSO up to 23 July 2026 at 11:59 PM.

RSSB has released the detailed notification for Rajasthan Common
Eligibility Test Senior Secondary Level 2026. The application process
is being conducted through the official Rajasthan SSO Recruitment
Portal.

The written examination is scheduled to be conducted from
23 October to 25 October 2026 in offline OMR mode.
RSSB may change the examination dates if required.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: Below 40 Years

The exact age and relaxation applicable to a particular post will also
depend on the service rules of that post when its separate recruitment
notification is released.

• Candidate should have passed the
  Senior Secondary/Class 12 examination or an
  equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates must satisfy the educational, physical, technical,
  computer, age and other requirements of at least one post covered by
  the CET.
• Passing or appearing in CET alone does not guarantee eligibility or
  appointment for every included post.
• Post-specific eligibility will be checked during the separate main
  recruitment process.

The number of vacancies for these posts will be published separately
when the concerned department or recruitment agency issues its main
recruitment advertisement.

Candidates should use the detailed topic-wise syllabus attached to the
official 23-page advertisement while preparing for the examination.

• Every question will contain five options marked A, B, C, D and E.
• Only one circle should be darkened using a blue ballpoint pen.
• To leave a question unanswered, the candidate must darken option E.
• If none of the five circles is darkened, one-third of the question’s
  marks may be deducted.
• Candidates receive an additional ten minutes to verify that one
  circle has been filled for every question.
• A candidate may be disqualified if no option is darkened for more
  than 10% of the questions.

• CET is only an eligibility examination.
• CET qualification does not guarantee a government job.
• The CET score will remain valid for three years from the result date.
• There is no fixed limit on the number of CET attempts.
• The best valid score may be considered for future recruitment.
• Candidates will have to separately apply for the concerned main
  recruitment examination.
• Recruitment may include a main written examination, physical test,
  typing test, interview or another stage depending on the post.
• The previous CET Senior Secondary Level 2024 score validity ended on
  16 February 2026; previous candidates must apply again for CET 2026.

• Aadhaar card or another valid identity document
• Class 10 certificate for date of birth
• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

1. Open the official Rajasthan SSO portal.
2. Log in using your own SSO ID and password.
3. Open Citizen Apps and select Recruitment Portal.
4. Complete One-Time Registration if it has not already been completed.
5. Select RSSB CET Senior Secondary Level 2026.
6. Open the application form and verify OTR details.
7. Enter educational qualification and other requested information.
8. Enter a visible identification mark on the body.
9. Upload the photograph, signature and required documents.
10. Pay the applicable OTR fee, if pending.
11. Preview the form carefully before final submission.
12. Submit the application and note the Application ID.
13. Download and print the final application form.

RSSB provides a correction opportunity for three days after the online
application deadline. Candidates can make permitted changes by paying
the prescribed correction fee of ₹300.

During the first correction period, the candidate’s name, father’s
name, date of birth, photograph, signature, thumb impression and
handwriting sample cannot be changed.

RSSB may provide one final correction opportunity for seven days after
the examination. Its exact dates and permitted fields will be
announced separately.

What is the last date for RSSB CET 12th Level 2026?

The online application closes on
23 July 2026 at 11:59 PM.

When will the CET examination be conducted?

The examination is scheduled from
23 October to 25 October 2026.

How many vacancies are available?

No fixed vacancy number has been announced because CET is only an
eligibility examination.

What is the age limit?

The basic age limit is 18 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027, subject to
category and post-specific relaxation.

What is the educational qualification?

Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary/Class 12 or an
equivalent examination and satisfy the rules of an included post.

Is the CET conducted in two papers?

No. The official notification provides one combined OMR paper with 120
questions carrying 240 marks.

Is there negative marking?

Yes. One-third mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

For how long is the CET score valid?

The score remains valid for three years from the result date.
