Educational Qualification

- The required qualification must be acquired on or before the last date of application.
- Recognised distance-learning or part-time qualifications may be accepted when recognised by the relevant statutory body.
- AMIE will not be accepted where a graduate engineering degree is prescribed.
- BE/B.Tech. in Chemical Sciences and Technology is not acceptable for the Chemical Engineering stream.
- A candidate can apply for only one academic or engineering stream.
ONGC E1 Salary and Benefits
- Basic pay scale: ₹60,000–₹1,80,000
- Approximate compensation package: ₹26 lakh CTC
- Annual increment: 3%
- Allowances under cafeteria approach: 35% of basic pay
- Other benefits include DA, HRA or company accommodation, provident fund, conveyance maintenance, leave encashment, performance-related pay, medical benefits, gratuity and post-retirement benefits as per ONGC rules.

ONGC may also conduct a Group Discussion for shortlisted candidates, but it will not be qualifying in nature. Final merit will be prepared using 85 marks for CBT and 15 marks for the interview.
