Short Information:
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the notification for Class 6 admissions for the academic session 2027–28 through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). The application form started on 7 July 2026, and the last date has been extended to 10 August 2026. The exam (Summer Bound) is scheduled for 28 November 2026. There is no application fee.

The candidate must be a resident of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. Additionally, the candidate must have passed Class 5 (Fifth Grade) from a Government or Government-recognised school in that same district during the academic session 2026–27. The candidate must apply for admission to the Navodaya school of the district where they reside. Private school students and candidates from other districts are not eligible.

2. Then, click on ‘Registration’ to create a new account.
3. Next, fill in the child’s personal and school details carefully.
4. After that, select the district and the Navodaya school for which admission is sought.
5. Also, upload the required photograph of the child.
6. Finally, submit the form and note the Registration Number for tracking the application.
