IBPS SO Recruitment 2026

Short Information:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has invited online applications
for Specialist Officer Scale-I posts under CRP SPL-XVI. The revised
recruitment contains 1,035 vacancies for IT Officer, Agricultural Field
Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and
Marketing Officer posts. Eligible candidates can apply online until
21 July 2026.

IBPS released the CRP SPL-XVI recruitment notification for Specialist
Officer Scale-I posts in participating public sector banks. A
corrigendum and revised vacancy update was published on 20 July 2026.

The revised post-wise vacancy total is 1,035 posts.
Candidates who satisfy the post-specific qualification can complete
their application through the official IBPS registration portal.

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Candidate should have been born between
  2 July 1996 and 1 July 2006, both dates inclusive.

Bank-wise and category-wise revised vacancies should be checked from the
latest official corrigendum before submitting the application.

Candidates must qualify the Preliminary Examination to appear in the
Main Examination. Marks obtained in the Main Examination are used for
interview shortlisting and final merit.

The final combined score is prepared using
80% weightage for the Main Examination and
20% weightage for the Interview.

Objective tests carry negative marking. One-fourth or 0.25 of the
marks assigned to a question may be deducted for an incorrect answer.
