Eligibility Details
- Flying Branch candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
- Flying Branch applicants should hold a graduation degree, B.E., B.Tech, or equivalent qualification as per rules.
- Ground Duty Technical eligibility depends on the relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Administration, Logistics, Accounts, Education, and Meteorology branches have separate qualification rules.
- NCC Special Entry requires a valid NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate.
- GATE Score Entry candidates must have a valid GATE score as mentioned in the official notification.
- Branch-wise education details should be checked carefully before applying.

- AFSB Interview / Testing
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List
- NCC Special Entry and shortlisted GATE Entry candidates will be called directly for AFSB testing.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay on commissioning as Flying Officer : ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
- Military Service Pay : ₹15,500
- Flight Cadets will receive a fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month during one year of training.
- Other allowances will be given as per branch, duty, and posting rules.
