RRB NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 3548 Posts, Last Date 6 November

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are accepting online applications for 3548 Graduate level Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts under CEN No. 06/2026. The form opened on 8 October 2026 and closes on 6 November 2026 at 23:59 hours, so candidates who have not applied yet have very little time left. The RRB-wise and zone-wise split of these vacancies is given in Annexure B of the CEN. RRB has said the numbers are provisional and may go up or down as per the needs of the railway administrations.

Age Limit

The age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 1 January 2027 for all four posts. Age relaxation applies as per government rules, for example 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation for PwBD, ex-servicemen and other groups is given in the CEN. The date of birth you enter must match your Class 10 certificate exactly.

Application Fee

Educational Qualification

• A degree (graduation) from a recognised university, or its equivalent, is required for all four posts.
• The qualification must be complete on or before the closing date. Candidates still waiting for their final-year result are not eligible for this CEN.
• No typing test this time: the typing skill test for Junior Accounts Assistant and Senior Clerk has been dispensed with for CEN 06/2026. RRB expects basic computer and typing skills, which will be checked after joining.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

1. 1st Stage CBT (screening): 100 questions in 90 minutes – General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, General Intelligence and Reasoning 30. Minimum qualifying marks: UR and EWS 40%, OBC-NCL and SC 30%, ST 25%.
2. 2nd Stage CBT: 120 questions in 90 minutes – General Awareness 50, Mathematics 35, General Intelligence and Reasoning 35. RRB shortlists about 15 times the community-wise vacancies from the 1st stage merit.
3. Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Both CBTs have negative marking: 1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. PwBD candidates eligible for a scribe get 120 minutes instead of 90.

How to Apply for RRB NTPC Graduate 2026

1. Go to rrbapply.gov.in.
2. If you have not used the portal before, click Create an Account and register. Details entered here cannot be changed later, so check them carefully.
3. Log in and open CEN 06/2026 – NTPC (Graduate).
4. Fill in your personal and educational details and choose only one RRB. Applying to more than one RRB gets all your applications rejected.
5. Complete the live photo capture and upload the documents asked for (photo, signature and any certificates for fee concession).
6. Pay the fee online and submit the form before 23:59 hours on 6 November 2026.
7. Download or print the submitted application for your records.
