Late Submission Fee details
If you fail to submit your Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) by the end of today, you can still submit them online. However, NIOS levies a heavy penalty fee. In particular, the fee structures are:
- Late Fee Amount: ₹1,500/- per subject (e.g., if a candidate has 5 subjects, the late fee will be ₹7,500/-).
- Submission: The late submission link will be active on the SDMIS dashboard. Payment must be made online.
How to Upload NIOS TMA Online
- Firstly, open the official student login portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
- Log in using your Enrollment Number and Date of Birth, or enter your Email and Password.
- Once logged in, click on the “TMA Upload” option on the student dashboard.
- Select the subject you want to upload the assignment for.
- Download the TMA question papers if you haven’t prepared them yet. Prepare handwritten assignments on sheets and scan them clearly to a PDF format.
- Click on the file upload link for the respective subject, select the PDF file (ensure the file size is under the maximum limit), and click submit.
- Repeat the steps for all your registered subjects.
- Finally, verify the submission status on your dashboard. It should display “Uploaded” for each subject.
