Indian Institute of Technology Madras has started the GATE 2027 Registration process through the official GATE Online Application Processing System. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27 August 2026 and submit the regular application form before 27 September 2026.

Candidates who are studying in the 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate degree program are eligible to apply for GATE 2027. Candidates who have already completed a government-approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts or Humanities are also eligible.
