NBEMS Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

| Deputy Director (Medical) | Recognized postgraduate medical qualification approved under the Medical Council Act, 1956. Training in medical education technology or modern evaluation techniques is desirable. |
| Junior Programmer | B.Tech / BE / BCA / DOEACC B or C level, or degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with computer specialization, or equivalent. |
| Junior Accountant | Bachelor Degree with Mathematics or Statistics, or Degree in Commerce from a recognized university. Candidate must also qualify the examination prescribed by NBEMS. |
| Stenographer | Senior Secondary (12th of 10+2) with stenographic skill of 80/30 WPM in shorthand/typing. Candidate must qualify General English, shorthand and typewriting tests. |
| Junior Assistant | Senior Secondary examination from a recognized board/university with proficiency in computer use and basic software packages such as Windows, network operating systems and LAN architecture. |
Selection Process
For Deputy Director (Medical) and Junior Programmer, the scheme, syllabus and final merit criteria will be intimated shortly on the NBEMS website. For Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant, the notified selection process has two stages.
- Stage-I: Computer Based Test with 200 questions for 200 marks.
- Stage-I duration: 180 minutes.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM and 50% for others.
- Stage-II: Computer Knowledge / Skill Test for 100 marks and 75 minutes.
- Five candidates against every vacancy in each category may be called for Stage-II on the basis of Stage-I merit.
- No interview will be held for Group B and C posts.
- Final merit for Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant will be prepared on the basis of total marks in Stage-I and Stage-II.
