UPPSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2026
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has invited online applications for approximately 500 vacancies through the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services PCS Examination 2026. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by the application closing date.

Pay Scale
Salary varies according to the allotted post and department. The notification lists posts under pay ranges including:
- ₹9,300–₹34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,200 or ₹4,600
- ₹15,600–₹39,100 with Grade Pay ₹5,400
Current salary, allowances and pay-matrix level will be governed by the applicable service and government rules for the selected post.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination – Objective and qualifying for admission to Mains
- Main Examination – Descriptive written examination
- Interview – Personality Test or Viva-Voce
- Document Verification and Medical Examination – As applicable to the allotted post
Approximately fifteen times the number of vacancies may be declared successful for the Main Examination and three times the number of vacancies may be called for interview.

- No penalty is imposed for an unanswered question.

- Complete One Time Registration and obtain the OTR number.
- Open Advertisement Number A-1/E-1/2026.
- Click the Apply option and authenticate using OTR number, OTP or OTR password.
- Check personal details fetched from the OTR profile.
- Enter the required educational and post-preference information.
- Complete the address, reservation and qualification sections.
- Preview the details and proceed to examination-fee payment.
- Pay through SBI MOPS or the available online payment option.
- Download the payment transaction slip.
- Complete final submission and print the application form.

Important Instructions
- OTR is mandatory for submitting the application.
- The application is treated as complete only after successful fee payment and final submission.
